Member Vs. Non-member
Membership Benefits
Membership pays for itself quickly. For an average household using 600 kWh/month, members save ~$30/year just on energy rates, plus long-term co-op benefits.
Energy rates
New customer members pay less/kWh than non-members, adding up to real savings on every bill.
Patronage returns
ACE shares surplus earnings with members, through lower rates and potential dividends.
Co-op governance
A $25 membership share gives you a voice in the direction of ACE.
Scholarships
Members and their families are eligible to apply for ACE scholarships — $2,000 each year.
Community programs
Member donations to Green Our Community are matched by ACE, up to $25,000 annually.

Your bill includes:
- Energy charge
